One fall film that's sort of fallen off the radar that I still am anxious to see: Josephine. Who's seen it? Thoughts?

I don't even know what kind of release the film is going to get to be honest. 


Is this a sit so difficult that it won't get the butts in seats needed to generate the needed hype to get momentum into Awards Season? 

What do we know about the film at this point? I haven't heard a peep for months now. It got such killer raves at Sundance. It's still been rattling around there in my head all through the year, even as things seemed to have calmed down about it. 

Is it going to any of the big fall festivals? It's already premiered, so I assume it's skipping The Big Three, right? 

The bottom line for me is, i've seen zero talk of the film as we're about ready to get into the fall season. This tells me the film has little to no shot at serious high profile recognition. And yet, it's one of my most anticipated movies coming up, along with Godzilla, Wildwood, Fjord, Wild Horse Nine, La Bola Negra, and a few others.

Who knows what about this one?
