I pick the same spot each time

If you flip a coin any large number of times and guess heads, it will always be close to 50/50 right/wrong. Same thing applies here but instead of heads you're always choosing a poster location, and the odds are worse because there are more options.

You wont win more than you should, but you also wont win less than you should, assuming all poster locations are equal and the winning one is truly random.

Roughly 1 out of every ( # of posters ) days you will win.
