look, im not trying to be a jerk, and really, the trader box isnt that big an issue for me, but someone needs to disagree with you when you are wrong.
in classic, if i wanted to buy a stock i didnt have, and i was in my port, all i had to do in firefox was type the symbol in a box that was always there and hit enter, voila, max share bought.
now, its either go to the stocks security page and trade from there, which isnt really all that bad to do, but really it only serves to take the player out of their port and into a new page so it builds pageviews, which i assume is desired for ad revenue
or use the dropdown trader box which god forbid i move my mouse and the box disappears, type in symbol, and quantity, and buy
so dont say its same number of steps when it isnt:
classic= stay in port, type symbol, enter, back, done
new= roll over navbar,keep a steady hand, type symbol, type quantity, click buy, back, page reloads, done
5 seconds versus 20 seconds.
but really, this isnt the worst issue. there are so many annoyances. there seems to be, perhaps unintentionally, a dismissive attitude in some of your responses. it seems hsx is trying to shoehorn players into a system they dont really want. obviously traffic is down, players are bothered. we dont want hsx to go away, so we are trying to help. but either you listen or you dont, either we come around or we dont. it will be interesting to see how this plays out
