Description

An Irish comedy brought to you by Uberto Pasolini, the producer of the 1997 sleeper hit and Academy Award nominee for Best Picture, The Full Monty.

The Closer You Get is the first project in a multi-year, multi-picture deal that Pasolini made with Fox Searchlight in 1998. Aileen Ritchie makes her directing debut in the film, which is based upon a William Ivory screenplay.
