Description

Friday Night Lights is a sports drama based on the popular book by H.G. Bissinger. The story chronicles the Texas town of Odessa and its obsession with its champion high school football team, the Permian Panthers. The 1988 season was a difficult one for the team and the book details the devastating effect it had on the town. Peter Berg directs the long-in-development film produced by Brian Grazer and Imagine Entertainment.
