Searchlight has unveiled the official trailer for dark comedic fantasy Poor Things [PRTHN] which clocks in at under a minute and half. Set in the Victorian age, Emma Stone [ESTON] stars as a young woman who is brought back to life by a scientist playe by Willem Dafoe [WDAFO]. Eager to learn about the world, she runs off with a lawyer played by Mark Ruffalo [MRUFF]. Unbound by the convention of the times, she seeks female equality. Written and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos [YLANT], Poor Things ariives in theaters on September 8th.
