How to short and cover LIMIT orders work? Can I short when a stock drops to a certain price, or only buy limit that way? nkliph3 May 14, 06:56

You short a stock if you think the price will go DOWN, if you set a limit order, it must be BELOW the price you short it at Flash May 14, 07:40

Technically, your limit has to be better than the current price, not where you bough tit. ndmaster May 14, 08:05
