You short a stock if you think the price will go DOWN, if you set a limit order, it must be BELOW the price you short it at

Example:  You short MOVIE stock at $50, you set a limit order to cover it at $45.  If the price drops to $45 your limit order executes and sells MOVIE at $45.

If you set your limit order at $55, HSX will execute your order right away, since you cannot use limit orders to prevent you from losing money...only to make money.
