We all started with a $2M port...
I'm not saying everyone should play openers...I'm only saying that opening movies each week offer players one of the FASTEST ways to build a port....NOT the only way.
Sure, I can afford to play openers now...but it wasn't always like that... I'm only saying that you can build your port fastER...playing openers.
Think about it...there's probably no other way of playing in HSX that can earn you $1M+ in a couple of days, unless perhaps you daytrade - and that takes effort and skill...Grory is the only one I konw of who took a $2M port and turned it into $1B in one year... (she's ranked #1 LTD)
With adjusts happening on Saturday again, why not take a shot at an opener??...see how the numbers play out Saturday before it halts and correct how you hold it if you need to?? Of course, this depends on your time zone, too.
When I started playing you could only "long" a movie, or sell it if you thought it woudn't open well...there was no shorting in those days... NOW you can make $$ holding an opener EITHER way... and your risks are less with halts on Saturdays now.
Sure, there may be players who don't WANT to play openers... which is fine... but I doubt their ports will grow as fast as someone who plays them...speaking from experience.
Remember..it's only play money...and yes, there are many ways to play HSX...and whichever trading style works for someone, is fine. It just depends on how quickly they want to reach $10M.. $20M... $50M, etc...
