Here are some examples of Monday/OW ratios and delist multiplers:
AVNGR's $19M Monday is about 9.2% of the weekend gross.
The three closest comparisons (IMO):
BATM2 - $24.5m Monday, 15.5% of OW, DM 2.79
SPDRM - $11m Monday, 9.6% of OW, DM 2.91
IRNMN - $6.9m Monday, 7% of OW, DM 2.62
Keep in mind that both SPDRM and IRNMN had the advantage of an extra day's box office before delist thanks to the Memorial Day weekend - as does AVNGR - and as others pointed out, school being out helped BATM2's Monday number.
And some other comparisons, that wouldn't have had to deal with overflow.
IRNM2 - $9.4M Monday, 7.3% of OW, DM 2.18
SPID3 - $10.3m Monday, 6.8% of OW, DM of 2.04
CAPAM - $7.8M Monday, 11.9% of OW, DM of 2.41
THOR - $5.4M Monday, 8.2% of OW, DM 2.47
I'm not sure that these numbers provide more clarity - but looking at them, you can see why things are so unclear and how predicting a delist for AVNGR at the moment is like throwing darts blindfolded.
