Well even though somebody I think it was SS said that this have some of the best action he's seen in a long time. That doesn't come accross
in the ads. It looks retro Tron and they haven't sold the wow factor to anybody but the geeks and they were presold. Second some of the geekness rubbed off, and I'm one of those that has gone from must see to wait and see. They are emphizing the 3D and shine has rubbed off that too since Avatar. Just saw a new ad tonight and thought this is better but might be to little to late.
YOGIB just looks bad but that doesn't mean it won't sell tickets. Even parents don't really know who Yogi Bear is the grand parents might. Yogi playes at 2am on my cable channel. That saying it's Christmas and the praents need to get rid of the kids for a few hours. Tangled going into it's 4th weekend and playing better with good WoM. Probably be a last minute thing with me but the ads don't inspire hope.
HDYKN, more rom/com from RWITH, Yawn nothing new here. She doesn't have the majic she used to have.
FITER probably has the best chance to make its price that said, it might be a bit of a tight fit at Christmas, working class boxer, meth adicted brother, foul language white trash girlfriend that used to be a princess. That all said America loves a winner, has some Oscar buzz for MWAHL and the movie, but some detractors saying the movie isn't as good as it could have been. Even if it does half Cinderella Man it should come out ok and have legs through to New Years.
