I have never heard of these websites before and I believe the information posted is likely out of date

Please show a release date from Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Deadline Hollywood, ComingSoon, Indiewire, LatinoReview, Screen Daily, Yahoo Movie News, Vulture, Heat Vision, Entertainment Weekly, Ain't It Cool News, ...at this point even MovieWeb and/or Moviehole would be acceptable.

Earlier this year there was talk about a/the Chronicle sequel and maybe a release date target could have been mentioned back then (earlier this year),  Currently there is no announced release date.  No director.  No casting.  And the studio is not happy (interested) in making the current script into a movie (as of a month ago).


The movie script is going to have to be rewritten (from scratch) to return to a found footage format.
