Copper, season 1, B+ or so. 1860's cop drama. Lotta potential. One thing I appreciated (possible spoilers)...
is that, although they had created several characters that would have been capable of some really heinous acts in pursuit of their particular "love" for the main character, they did not do what I sort of expected, and which would have been all to easy to do. It wasn't really misdirection; I was just glad the characters had enough dimension to not do what they well might have. Oh, there were plenty of characters doing their bad things, as would be expected. Nice costumes, settings, writing, acting, directing.
