It's sent to exhibitors... they're the only ones who read it and I'm not sure if it has much effect on their bookings.
It just has information about the box office and trailers and upcoming movies and I'm sure it's like anything else, just information that's only as useful as what's written. The actual non-prediction stuff is actually more interesting than their predictions which are always useless until Sunday... at least they try to analyze their research data rather than just sending numbers and letting the end-user do their own analysis. NRG is the most trusted in the industry and I think their information is also deceptive.
I'd be curious to know how MTC does their predictions and what they use as research.
