I know that I personally may be done with box office predictions (at least in terms of my columns) for some time.

It just doesn't seem feasible to try to determine all the unknown Xfactors surrounding the box office when it comes to partial seating, not all theaters being reopened, many people being scared to go to the movies or not feeling it's a priority over their own health until there's a vaccine. We just haven't had any sort of historical correlation to what's going on now to use for comparison and that's always been crucial to my half-assed predictions.

Incidentally, although I've been keeping up with that stuff over the years since I left ComingSoon.net (at about four different places), I've maintained a weekly movie preview column on my blog that has been focused on VOD movies until theaters reopen, and you can read those here (if you're interested):

I also hope to start a monthly movie preview column over at VitalThrills.com (run by the guy who started ComingSoon) but we're waiting to see what happens with July/August...
