Curious--do you all have a sense for what % of bond movement happens in the week before they adjust?
Even anecdotally, do you all have a sense for what percentage of a bond's price movement happens in the week leading up to Tuesday afternoon adjustments? Like, if a bond is at $20 now and we think it'll adjust to $40 three months from now, how much of that price movement happens in the first eleven weeks versus in the seven days between when it shows up on the market calendar and when it adjusts? I've only looked at a handful of past bonds, but it looks like almost all the movement happens right before adjustment (and of course at adjustment). If that's true more broadly, then does it really make sense to hold bonds that aren't about to adjust in the next 7-ish days?
