Pixar had Toy Story 4, though probably the two Pixar films in 2020 will equal that one. Other animation has Frozen 2 this year, and Raya and the Last Dragon (which doesn't yet have an HSX stock) in 2020.
Worth pointing out that Disney's grosses are up 2.5% on 2018 YTD, and 33% up from the studio's next strongest year, 2016.
Looking at the other studios 2019s, Universal is down 4.4% on 2018, WB up by 4%, Sony up 12.8%, Lionsgate up 65% (! - thanks John Wick), Paramount down 27.3% (no MI or other franchise, biggest film so far is RCKTM), Fox down 63% (results of the merger)
Looking at annual numbers between 2017, 2018, 2019. 2019 should beat 2017 and using straight comparisons may beat 2018. Aug 25, 09:59
